Embedded Linux boasts industrial strength
Sysgo has announced the release of Elinos v4.1, the first industrial grade Linux solution.
The Live Experience Server currently provides evaluation access for Sysgo's ELinOS Industrial Grade Linux and is available 24/7 to any interested customer.
In addition, Sysgo will add evaluation access for ELinOS Real-Time via the Live-Experience Server from December onwards.
"Evaluation is a cornerstone in the decision-making process for any new software solutions", says Johannes Froehling, Sales Director at Sysgo.
"Potential customers do now have the opportunity to go online and assess our products without any hassle, saving them time and money when choosing a solution".
"We can even give them a guided online demonstration where they can directly interact with a peer engineer to raise questions or ask for additional information".
In addition to the currently available time-limited evaluation versions of ELinOS Industrial Grade Linux and ELinOS Real-Time, the Sysgo Live Experience Server provides another way of evaluating Sysgo products.
Users can choose if they want to have full access to the server or viewing rights only.
This way, a complete team of evaluators can share the experience, which will save each team member the time to do the complete evaluation on their own.
By assessing Sysgo's products as a team, the decision can be made based on the same knowledge.
In a more and more globalised environment, the Live Experience Server also enables regionally distributed teams to work together on product evaluations.
The Live Experience Server can also be used for online training, where customers are guided by a Sysgo professional.
These online sessions can be accessed by several project members simultaneously, without needing them to be in the same location.
The trainees are able to interact with their instructor live through VoIP or phone.
The provision of this mixture of hands-on session and personal training is another proof point for Sysgo's ongoing efforts to provide best-in-class service offerings to our global customers and partners.
