Sypris Electronics has published a research paper focusing on the continued exploration of joint design manufacturing (JDM) in the aerospace and defence markets.
Presenting his paper: "Design collaboration leads to emergence of aerospace and defence joint design manufacturing", at the recent Surface Mount Technology Association's International Conference was Charles White, Business Development Manager for Sypris Electronics.
This acclaimed paper will be published in the Surface Mount Technology Association's conference publication and made available on the Sypris Electronics website.
Last year, Sypris Electronics presented the first part of this research paper: "Realties and trends in defence and aerospace electronics manufacturing outsourcing".
It was at this event last year Sypris Electronics emerged as the first joint design manufacturer dedicated to the defence and aerospace markets.
"Design collaboration has been widely practiced in the commercial sector; however, this trend will become the breakthrough competitive discriminator in the Aerospace and Defense market", stated Charles White, Business Development Manager for Sypris Electronics.
