Waveform generators on the pulse

A Tabor Electronics product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Dec 7, 2007

New option allows users to design analogue pulses and their parameters in the time domain, exactly as they would be programmed on a dedicated pulse generator.

Tabor Electronics has added a digital pulse option for its model 5061/2 and 1071/2 waveform generators.

The new option has been designed to meet the market demand for a low-frequency pulse feature, allowing them to design analogue pulses and their parameters in the time domain, exactly as they would be programmed on a dedicated pulse generator.

The new option will come in the form of special firmware, enabling the new digital pulse feature, while removing access to the sequencer panels from the front panel.

The standard models will keep being delivered with the original firmware not including the new feature, unless specifically requested at time of purchase.

Clients will additionally be able to download the special firmware from Tabor's online download centre, enabling access to the new digital pulse panels at any time.

According to Ron Glazer, Tabor's Business Development Manager: "There is no doubt that the new option will supersede even the tremendous success of the original WW5061/2 and WW1071/2 models, once again demonstrating the responsiveness and dedication of Tabor to the ever-growing demands of today's applications".
