Traquair Data Systems can provide Linux, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating system support for Heron DSP systems, providing developers with several alternative host-side development platforms Integration of Heron DSP hardware technology with Linux, Windows 2000 and Windows XP host computer systems extends the development accessibility for Heron DSP systems, putting powerful, flexible, multiple processor DSP technology in the hands of more developers than ever

Heron DSP systems allow groups of extremely powerful TMS320C6000T DSPs and high density Virtex-II FPGAs to be combined and used together, along with fully integrated data acquisition and I/O hardware, in stand-alone or computer-hosted environments.

Heron systems target demanding real-time, computationally intensive applications such as software defined radios (SDR), industrial imaging, automation and sonar.

Support software for Linux, Windows 2000 and Windows XP is available now and included as part of the Hunt Engineering software developers pack (SDP) for Heron DSP Systems for $1750.
