TBA Electro Conductive Products (ECP) has new static-dissipative orthopaedic floor tiles that provide an ESD safe solution to the problems of operator fatigue.

TBA Electro Conductive Products (ECP) has new static-dissipative orthopaedic floor tiles that provide an ESD safe solution to the problems of operator fatigue Designed for use in electrostatic protected (ESP) areas where operators are required to stand for prolonged periods, the new tiles can reduce fatigue by up to 50%

In addition, because the tiles are static dissipative, they can be used in conjunction with static dissipative footwear such as TBA's range of heel straps, shoes and overshoes, providing a safe route to earth for operatives.

Available in blue, the interlocking tiles feature a unique pop-together fastening system that ensures a good fit and easy installation as well as excellent electrical continuity.

The cushioned surface acts to reduce strain and stiffness in areas such as the back and neck while also insulating feet from cold and vibration.

The design of the tiles also stimulates circulation by encouraging frequent changes in posture.

In addition, arch and heel pain caused by flattening of the feet is reduced.

The combination of these factors results in a significant reduction in fatigue often by as much as 50%.

Besides reducing operator fatigue, the easy to clean antislip surface also provides protection for dropped components and tools.

Measuring 305 x 305mm, the tiles are supplied in packs of 12.

Specifications include surface resistivity of 100Mohm/sq ASTM D 257 and resistance to ground of 10Mohm.
