Ion nozzle provides static-safe cleaning

A new flexible ion nozzle is designed for repetitive cleaning tasks in a wide range of applications The new ECP I 272 flexible ion nozzle offers hands-free operation and is exceptionally quiet in operation
It features a special pneumatic foot switch that controls ionisation in addition to the airflow.
Flexible and compact, the ECP I 272 ion nozzle provides a noncontact solution to the problem of elimination of electrostatic fields within electronics EPAs (electrostatic protected areas).
Ideal as part of an integrated electrostatic control system as described in BS IEC61340-5-1 Pt 1:1998, it can also be used in many other industrial applications where static is a problem.
These include semiconductor manufacturing and inspection, electronics assembly and testing machines, optics, contact lens and fibre optics manufacturing, PCB inspection and medical device manufacturing and packaging.
