Timbercon introduces its high speed serial data connection (HSSDC) loopback designed for testing electrical signals in high speed networks and systems Timbercon's HSSDC loopback uses Fibre Channel technology to provide high speed data transfer, at 2.25Gbit/s

"Many of our customers currently testing with the Armadillo optical and/or the SFP electrical loopbacks have requirements for an HSSDC loopback to support copper Fibre channel protocols", stated Sean Gitt, Marketing Director for Timbercon.

"The HSSDC loopback enables us to offer our customers an additional solution for their testing requirements".

Timbercon's new HSSDC loopback is an addition to the company's Armadillo optical and SFP electrical loopback product lines.

The HSSDC loopback loops a signal from the transmit side of a port to the receive side, simulating a complete connection.

Timbercon HSSDC loopbacks are used for a variety of testing, diagnostics and measurement applications from single port testing to board, hub and system level testing.

Timbercon HSSDC loopbacks are specifically designed to support copper implementation of Fibre Channel and other serial data applications requiring high speed data transfer rates over long distances.

Timbercon loopbacks are designed and manufactured to provide a cost effective and easy to use method of testing a wide variety of equipment, systems, and networks, while maintaining performance and durability.
