Timbercon has introduced a vast array of connectivity solutions.

Timbercon, the optical fibre manufacturing company, has introduced its serial attached SCSI (SAS) loopback, designed to provide an easy to use method of testing a wide variety of equipment, systems and networks, while maintaining a very high level of performance and durability SAS makes use of a point-to-point architecture which works in conjunction with PCI Express and other high speed serial architectures

SAS loopbacks can be used for a multitude of testing, diagnostics and measurement applications from single port testing to board, hub and system level testing.

"With the introduction of the SAS loopback, the Timbercon family of loopback products has broadened to support the major interconnect standards for high speed copper and fibre optic connections", says Sean Gitt, Director of Marketing for Timbercon.

The Timbercon SAS loopback is available with a variety of connector options and attenuation levels to suit application specific requirements.
