Loopback features variable attenuation
Timbercon has released a variable attenuated version of its flagship product, the Armadillo loopback.
It is available with any level of attenuation from 0dB to 20dB.
"The new dual-wavelength attenuated Armadillo loopback provides users with more flexibility and freedom in their applications", said Sean Gitt, Director of Marketing for Timbercon.
"This increased functionality enables one product to be used in multiple applications with different light sources, wavelengths or both".
In addition to uniform attenuation technology, all dual-wavelength Armadillo loopbacks feature a hard, protective shell that encases and protects the fibre portion of the loopback.
It eliminates problems with ferrule alignment, fibre breakage and performance degradation.
