Nemerix has expanded its North American operations with the opening of its Silicon Valley office and development centre.

Nemerix has expanded its North American operations with the opening of its Silicon Valley office and development centre Based in Santa Clara, the new North American headquarters will support a rapidly expanding engineering and product development effort designed to help Nemerix' customers incorporate GPS solutions into handheld mobile devices

"The growth of Nemerix is fuelled by the industry's response to our groundbreaking GPS technologies, and the opening of our Silicon Valley office will help us attract the additional talent we need to keep up with our extensive customer demands", said Ron Torten, CEO of Nemerix.

As part of Nemerix's rapid expansion, the company is currently seeking engineers with experience in: hybrid navigation systems; test engineering; HW lab management; embedded SW engineering; GPS navigation systems; DSP systems and field applications.

Nemerix' development efforts in the new Santa Clara office will be led by company CTO Lionel Garin, and sales and field applications engineering efforts will continue to be led by Americas Vice President of Sales, Michael Thompson.
