Thanks to Java technology, the TC45 Java is not limited to communication between machines but can also act as control centre for the application, controlling the functions of the application independently.
With dimensions of only 53 x 34 x 3.5mm and weighing only 10g, the ultracompact TC45 Java shortens time to market by reducing development efforts; cutting costs for extra components and shrinking hardware footprints by increasing the integration level.
This is the first time that the TC45 Java's TCP/IP network protocol can be used, which means that the application can access the Internet directly without the need for additional components.
TDC also supply the TC45 Java with a development support box (DSB), enabling customers to familiarise themselves with the possibilities presented by the module.
Additional benefits of the TC45 Java also include alarm management, phone book, multiple ringing tones and application software updates over the air (OTA) as well as over a serial interface.
The module is fully type approved according to R and TTE and GCF.
Jerry Sandys, Managing Director of TDC comments, "The TC45 Java allows a further level of integration, and with TDC's extensive system design and software experience, we are well positioned to assist customers with this rapid and economical wireless communications platform".
