Wireless seminars to tour Europe
During 2006 TDC will be hosting a series of seminars at Abacus Group companies in Stockholm and Italy in addition to the Abacus Headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire.

The wireless seminar is hands on in the sense that there will be demonstrations of relevant products and applications on show.
The seminars will feature the Siemens range of wireless modules and GPS receivers from Navman and Leadtek.
TDC will also be showcasing Bluetooth solutions from Ezurio, Multitech, National Semiconductor and Amber Wireless.
Following the success of TDC's last seminar, the company will also be holding another "Energy for free" seminar with EnOcean on Thursday 16th February in Newbury, Berkshire.
Delegates are invited to come and watch batteryless switches and sensors communicate without wires in building automation applications such as lighting control, window sensors and air-conditioning control, or industrial applications such as position switch gears or process monitoring systems.
With practical demonstrations, TDC will be discussing the benefits of batteryless wireless communications using energy harvesting and extremely efficient low power radio systems.
The agenda will include a background to the technology and history of the batteryless wireless products.
TDC will discuss the methods of energy harvesting, look in technical detail at the EnOcean modules and starter packs available from TDC and finish with real life examples of applications where batteryless wireless technology has already enjoyed success.
The seminar will run from 0930 until 1330 GMT followed by lunch where delegates will be able to discuss their applications further.
A charge of GBP 10 per head is payable by credit card in order to secure all UK bookings.
