Incorporating high specification components (0.5ppm TCXO) and with the ability to track satellites to below -159dBm, the receiver offers unparalleled accuracy and extremely fast fixes even in conditions such as in built-up areas, indoors or subject to challenging temperature profiles.

With 200,000 effective time/frequency search channels (correlators) and the ability to continue tracking satellites as low as 13dBHz, the Jupiter 32 provides the ideal solution for miniature tracking applications in the most demanding of environments.

With its integrated LNA and ceramic filters, the J32 maintains outstanding performance with both active and passive antennas.

The J32 features SiRF's third generation architecture GSC3f chipset.

Measuring 17 x 15 x 3mm and consuming a mere 165mW (50mA) at 3.3VDC (tracking), 25mA with the use of adaptive trickle power, the receiver is ideal for handheld battery powered or high-end track and trace applications.

The Jupiter 32 supports SiRFInstantFix for aided navigation.

SiRFInstantFix allows the GPS receiver to use extended ephemeris data, downloaded from application IP servers to the host system via wireless or wired data communications.

The receiver no longer has to rely on unobscured satellite coverage for decoding ephemeris data.

By simply downloading the extended ephemeris from the IP server and as long and one strong satellite signal is available at power up for two seconds, the Jupiter 32 will begin navigating.

The extended ephemeris data is valid for up to seven days, this means the receiver, if permanently powered, could continue to navigate from signals of 25dBHz and lower for a whole week.

The receiver offers autonomous hot start acquisition of less than 1s, warm start acquisition of less than 38s and cold start acquisition of less than 42s.

Other benefits of the Jupiter 32 include an operating temperature range of -40 to +85C and operating voltage of 3.0 to 3.6V DC.

Push-to-fix mode is also available for enhanced power saving.

The Jupiter 32 receiver also has an upgradeable Flash memory for future product enhancements and is WAAS/EGNOS compatible.
