Triband antennas provide elegant solutions
The MCA 1890 stripe tri-band and 1890 PA/SMB mini-patch are the latest additions to the Hirschmann Antennas range.
This provides users with up to 70 different radio channels within a certified range and enables a wide range of functions to be performed within minutes including monitoring temperature and pressure sensors, taking automatic meter readings, traffic telematics and storage logistics.
The kit features two of each of the following: evaluation boards with RS232 and RS485 interfaces, radio data transmission modules, antennas, power supplies, serial data cables, and all the documentation and software required for configuration.
IRIS can be used for cable replacement where the distance between the units exchanging data is too long or there are problems installing cable and bidirectional function makes sending and receiving possible with only one unit.
The IRIS modules are very compact with the dimensions of 42 x 51 x 11mm and consequently they can be integrated into almost any devices.
An Internet version of IRIS is currently under development.
The IRIS Development Kit and further radio data devices from TRL Funksysteme are available from TDC now.
