EID 2005 allows engineers, designers, buyers and end-users to keep abreast of the latest developments in display technology to ensure that their companies keep up with best practice in their industry.
The incorporation of the displays event, previously known as Electronic Information Displays (EID), and the positioning of the stands within IPOT and Machine Vision to create one complete optical, photonics, vision and displays technology show, has been an initiative welcomed by exhibitors.
Building on the foundation of EID, Displays Technology exhibitors will benefit by being included in the promotion of the IPOT and Machine Vision shows which have already established themselves as leading events in their field and are recognised brands.
And IPOT, Machine Vision and Displays Technology also benefit from further colocation with seven other focused industry events: Mtec - sensors, measurement and instrumentation; Industrial Networks for Fieldbus and Open Systems; Machine Building and Automation incorporating PneuMotion - air at work; Practical Vacuum incorporating Semiconductor Processing; Drives and Motion Control Systems (new for 2006); MDT - Medical Device Technology; and 3C - Contamination, Control and Cleanroom Products.
Colocation of these events in this way means visiting is both economical and time-efficient - visitors can see the latest technology across a variety of disciplines under one roof and therefore justify a day away from the office.
More than 6500 visitors attended the two-day events in 2005 and it is expected that the 2006 shows will not disappoint.
