Component library is free to design customers
TDK and Ansoft Corporation have announced the release of a new library for TDK's capacitor, inductor, common mode filter, and ferrite bead components for use in Ansoft Designer.
The TDK SAC will be put to use by LGA's variety of customers ranging from automotive manufacturers to retailers of toys, power tools, domestic appliances, telecoms and IT.
"It was very important that our chosen supplier is able to deliver the technical quality and flexibility to perform a number of EMC tests and also provide the added benefits of future possible upgrades for a wider range of testing applications", commented, Thomas Weigand, EMC Manager at LGA.
Measuring 21.5 x 13 x 8.6m and featuring a 5m turntable, as well as the company's innovative IP-090BL logarithmic absorbers, the chamber is well equipped to provide a range of high-performance EMC tests up to 40GHz.
Further features of the chamber include high-performance HVAC and fibre optic conversion system, exhaust extraction for automotive testing and equipment for EMI test.
