Visteon has recognised TDK Electronics Europe with its Visteon Important Partner Award Programme, in recognition of TDK's consistent high standards of customer service.

After considering each of its 2300 suppliers, Visteon presented TDK with two of the 18 available awards, during a ceremony in April, in Cologne, Germany.
"The Visteon Important Partner Award is an integral part of our effort to create a network of reliable partners focused on helping us satisfy our customers' demands", said Jon Maples, Visteon's Vice President, Quality and Materials Management.
"Each of these supplier partners has gone above-and-beyond in helping Visteon deliver to its customers".
"Additionally, their contributions will enable Visteon to achieve its goal of becoming the most globally advantaged supply base among Tier 1 suppliers".
The programme recognises supplier actions that support and enable Visteon to realise its goal of becoming the most globally advantaged supply chain in the world.
Along with recognition, the programme rewards each company with a seat on the Visteon Supplier Round Table, which is composed of suppliers and Visteon purchasing executive management.
The council's purpose is to identify opportunities for Visteon and its supplier partners to improve efficiency, reduce costs and work better together.
"This award is a great honour for TDK and another validation of our commitment to providing automotive customers with the service and support that they require to win in today's market", said Michihiro Tame, General Manager of TDK Electronics Europe.
"We have taken a long-term customer focused approach with Visteon".
"Based on TDK's commitment to superior customer service and technology leadership we have formed cross-functional teams together with Visteon that have allowed us to quickly review and respond to all of their business needs".
