The miniaturisation of mobile communications devices and the constant push towards higher frequencies has led to the demand for even higher performance coils.

The miniaturisation of mobile communications devices and the constant push towards higher frequencies has led to the demand for even higher performance coils In response to this market need, TDK has improved its MLK and MLG series of multilayer ceramic coils

The MLG and the MLK series of coils now offer an extended inductance range of 1.0 to 33nH (MLK0603) and up to 100nH (MLG0603).

Both series display exceptional Q (Quality) characteristics in high frequency bands.

The MLG coils are mainly suitable for use within the megahertz frequency range.

The MLK coils incorporate a Giga-Spiral coil design made possible by advances in multilayer technology, which dramatically reduce levels of stray capacitance and provides optimum performance in the gigahertz frequency band.

The MLG and MLK series are completely lead-free products that are compatible with lead-free solder for design possibilities that are fully compliant with WEEE and RoHS directives.

A selection of TDK's wide range of passive components, including the MLG/MLK Series will be on show at Electronica in Munich.

Visitors to the show can meet TDK in Hall B6, Stand 305.
