Wire-wound inductors go lead-free
The NLV32 and NLCV32 SMD are lead-free wire-wound inductors for signal lines.
The iQB enjoys efficiencies of up to 93% at heavy load, due to newly developed leading-edge magnetic components.
The low power losses are coupled with enhanced thermal design, to achieve highly usable power in a low cost single board structure, only 8.8mm high.
TDK's iQB series 12V/12.5A (150W) provides a wide input range of 36 to 75V DC to cover the full telecomms battery range, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including ATCA.
Due to delivering a tightly regulated 12V output, the iQB is suitable to power a wide range of loads, including POL and VRM devices.
The iQB48012A120V delivers 11A, 132W at 65C with 1m/s airflow, and 9.5A (114W) at 65C with natural convection.
As a result, the new iQB will replace higher priced 200W products, which require significant derating.
TDK is actively developing a market for the range of TDK Innoveta DC/DC convertors outside of its traditional accounts, with the award of distribution agreements to Boran Technologies, Powersolve Electronics and the UR Group.
Boran Technologies will strengthen TDK Innoveta's presence in Israel, Powersolve in the UK, and the UR Group across Europe.
"These new partnerships underline TDK's commitment to supporting a broader customer base through a network of 1st class distributors", says Carey Windeatt, European Technical and Applications Manager.
