Tektronix has announced the availability of the first published test procedures for physical layer testing of the Serial ATA Revision 3.0 standard.
Each seminar, hosted by the local channel partner is aimed at broadening mobile professional's knowledge of 3G testing issues, examining 3G standards, trends, issues and challenges provided by leading experts in both monitoring protocol test and wireless testing.
The free one-day seminars, inviting all levels of involvement within the 3G market, focus on the evolution of wireless and wireline elements of UMTS networks and the needs associated with design verification, deployment and operations of new technologies and services within the network.
Sessions will be suitable for equipment vendors, installers, consultants, network operators and service providers.
Equipment on display throughout the entire programme will include the recently announced Tektronix K15 protocol analyser: a test platform with supporting application software that enables operators to resolve "trouble tickets" within minutes, including first-to-market real-time multi-interface call trace and automatic UMTS lub configuration.
The tour covers six further venues until the end of February.
Cities and dates to remember include: Morocco, 3rd February 2004, hosted by Tradec Signals; Warsaw, 5th February 2004, hosted by Tespol; Moscow, 10th February 2004, hosted by Scan; St Petersburg, 12th February 2004, hosted by Scan; Athens, 17th February 2004, hosted by Telmaco; and Tel Aviv, 24th February 2004, hosted by Eastronics.
