Seminar will explore the route to compliance for the latest high speed serial standards and will introduce an automated compliance test solution for SATA Gen2.

Tektronix is hosting a free high speed serial compliance technical seminar in association with Testronic Laboratories and NXP Semiconductors.

The seminar will take place at the Testronic premises in Diepenbeek, near Brussels, Belgium, on 23rd April 2008.

New serial databus architectures including USB, SATA, HDMI, DisplayPort and other technologies are underpinned by industry standards and standardised test methodologies which ensure quality and interoperability.

Tektronix is a leader in the development of comprehensive high-speed serial test specifications and procedures and plays an active role in standards bodies and at interoperability plug-fests.

This seminar will explore the route to compliance for the latest high speed serial standards and will introduce an automated compliance test solution for SATA Gen2 that delivers reliable and repeatable test results whilst substantially reducing test time.

Topics covered will include: next generation test challenges - USB 3.0 5Gbit/s; methods of implementation - a SATA Gen 2 case study; and compliance test automation - reducing test time while fulfilling the full range of tests mandated for compliance.

There will also be a demonstration of the latest USB and SATA Gen2 compliance test solutions.

Registration details for the free seminar can be found at on the Tektronix website.
