Budget pricing for microwave VCO
The VLB-series cuts the cost of VCOs for high-performance microwave communication systems, covering the frequency range from 70MHz to 3.5GHz.
Temex has cut the cost of VCOs for high-performance microwave communication systems by introducing the new VLB-series, covering the frequency range from 70MHz to 3.5GHz The full selection includes narrowband devices with a tuning range of 10% of centre frequency, up to wideband devices covering an octave to ease circuit design and board layout

SAW oscillators run up to 2GHz
The new QES211 series extends the frequency range of Temex voltage controlled SAW oscillators to 2.0GHz, bringing the size and cost advantages of SAW technology to a wider range of applications.
The VLB-series is suitable for military and commercial applications, and displays low SSB phase noise, making it suitable for analogue as well as digital communication systems.
Phase noise performance is typically -120dB/Hz at 100kHz.
Family members also maintain output power between +/-2.5dBm, and harmonic suppression typically 20dB throughout the specified frequency range.
Devices launched so far cover the frequency ranges 1753-1809 and 1862-1918MHz, and operate from a nominal 5V power supply.
The standard package is SM1, measuring 12.5 x 12.5mm with an industry standard footprint and pinout for drop-in cost-saving in existing designs.
A special low-profile package measuring 9.4 x 9.4mm is also available, and all VLB-series packages feature Temex' lead-free technology suitable for ISO14001.
