Handheld enclosures can be sealed to IP65
The Tekbox enclosure range is now available sealed to IP65, extending applications for the modern handheld enclosures to outdoor or harsher industrial duties.
Tekbox enclosures are available in seven standard sizes ranging from 126 x 68 x 24 to 163 x 88 x 25mm.
The cases can be ordered with or without battery compartments which accept two 1.5V AA cells or a single 9V cell.
Sealed models provide protection from dust and moisture to IP65, and are particularly suitable for outdoor devices.
The TBT models have a T-shaped design, which allows larger size LCD modules to be fitted into the head section.
Teko can machine these cases with different sizes of windows to suit customer-specified LCD modules.
The cases are moulded in off-white or black ABS (UL94HB).
A recessed area in the top section is designed for mounting membrane keypads or product labels.
Internal PCB mounting pillars are also provided in the top and base parts.
Volume prices start at GBP 4.
Teko offers a full customising service on these enclosures with CNC milling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a completely finished housing.
