Battery compartments house nonstandard
cell sizes
A range of battery compartment lid kits answers demands from designers of handheld equipment that uses nonstandard rechargeable battery formats.
Many of today's mobile electronic systems are designed to use rechargeable battery packs that do not conform exactly to standard battery sizes such as AA, 9V etc As a result, design engineers cannot use the standard battery compartments which are commonly moulded into off-the-shelf enclosures

Enclosures make a home for handheld controllers
Ovo enclosures are designed for housing the latest pocket and handheld electronics, and feature advanced ergonomics for comfortable handling and operation of the controls during use.
Following increasing customer demand to solve this problem, Teko has introduced a range of battery compartment lid kits.
These can be mounted into standard enclosures which do not have a battery compartment already.
The kits consist of a three-part assembly moulded in ABS (UL94HB).
Two standard colours are offered, off-white or black.
The assembly consists of an external frame, an internal frame and a clip-on lid.
The enclosure must be drilled with four or six mounting holes (depending on the lid size), and also milled with a rectangular aperture to suit the external frame.
On request, Teko can provide any of its enclosures premachined to accept these kits.
Three standard sizes are offered 68 x 39mm (2 x AA or 9V), 68 x 55mm (4 x AAA) and 68 x 69mm (4 x AA).
Prices start from GBP 2.45.
