Compact and ergonomic handheld plastic cases are designed to house the latest pocket size electronics.

New from Teko, Miniteknet plastic enclosures are compact and ergonomic handheld cases designed for the latest pocket size electronics Typical applications will include RF and infra-red remote control units, medical and wellness equipment, detection devices, measurement systems, and personal security equipment etc

These unique ergonomic enclosures feature soft-touch edge grips for secure and comfortable holding during use.

The edge grips also provide protection for the case mouldings.

The standard case material is off-white, RAL9002 or black, RAL9004 ABS (UL94HB) with a modern textured finish.

The edge grips are in contrasting light grey or dark grey elastomer, which can also be moulded in other colours.

Miniteknet cases consist of three parts, the top and base mouldings and a clip-on battery compartment lid.

The integral battery compartment will accept two 1.5V AA cells or a 9V cell.

The cases are assembled by four self-tapping screws.

Internal PCB screw pillars are provided in the top and base parts.

The external dimensions are 115 x 70 x 24mm.

All models feature a recessed top moulding for easy location of a membrane keypad, display module or product label.

Prices start at GBP 11.

Teko can supply the Miniteknet enclosures with additional holes for pushbuttons, connectors and controls etc, plus silk-screen printed legends and logos.

The cases can also be moulded or painted in alternative colours.
