Due to their small size, Minitekal cases can be used as independent units or located in control cabinets.
Tekal cases consist of an extruded case section and two tough ABS end panels.
These are mounted by self-tapping screws.
The case extrusion is painted with fine-texture powder paint in either off-white RAL9002 or black RAL9004.
The matching end panels are light grey RAL9018 and dark grey RAL7012, respectively.
Tekal cases also feature internal guide rails for mounting PCBs, and a recessed area on the top and bottom, which can be used for mounting membrane keypads or product labels.
The end panels are also recessed for keypads, or to protect the connectors and switches.
Volume prices start at GBP 6.50.
The new extended range now includes mini-tower versions, instrument cases with carry handles and wall mountable models.
External dimensions range from 70 x 60 x 31 to 210 x 167 x 53mm.
For handheld applications, slide-in battery compartments can be ordered as accessories.
Two models are offered for 1.5V AA or 9V cells.
Teko can supply these enclosures with additional holes for pushbuttons, connectors and controls etc, plus silk-screen-printed legends and logos.
The cases can also be painted in alternative colours.
