Top manufacturing support at offshore prices

Tenstep uses manufacturing facilities in the UK and Tunisia to provide customers with a complete manufacturing service at offshore prices with the support levels associated with UK manufacture.

Tenstep uses the manufacturing facilities of two associate companies in the UK and one in Tunisia to provide customers with a complete manufacturing service at offshore prices but with support levels normally associated with UK manufacture.

The company offers a complete procurement, manufacturing and test outsourcing solution with top quality components including plastics, metalwork and machined parts all purchased in the UK.

All jobs are also specified, controlled and monitored from the UK.

In Tunisia, Tenstep employs directly seven people who are dedicated to expediting manufacturing contracts on behalf of Tenstep customers.

The company is in the process of arranging another manufacturing facility in Poland to ensure maximum flexibility in its operation.

Managing Director Ron Caunt said: "We talk to companies and try to add value and service to their existing operation".

Tenstep provides a purchasing consultation service for those companies wishing to keep procurement in-house and will advise those companies that wish to outsource manufacturing offshore but want to avoid the logistical problems associated with the setting-up of an overseas operation.
