The SN74SSTVF16857 is also a drop in replacement for the older SN74SSTV16857, as the devices are pin to pin compatible, also allowing for backwards compatibility to PC1600/2100 DIMMs.
The balanced rising and falling edges on the outputs of SSTVF devices allow for easier system tuning as well.

TI offers a complete register and clock solution for the DDR333 platform as TI is currently previewing the CDCV857B, 2.5V phase locked loop clock driver.
This enhanced version of the CDCV857A offers a tighter static phase offset of +/-50ps optimised for PC2700 applications.
Samples for the SSTVF16857 are currently available online for both TSSOP and TVSOP packages.
Estimated resale for the SSTVF16857 starts at $2.51 for 1000-off.
Production for the CDCV857B is planned to ramp in 4Q02.
