Compact VME rack takes to the air
The RA2064x airborne VME rack is a compact off-the-shelf solution for avionics applications, meets the RTCA/DO-160D standard for avionic equipment and is suitable for use in a pressurised cabin.
The new board provides eight differential analogue input channels, as well as eight single-ended analogue outputs, all operating at 12bit resolution, in addition to 18 TTL digital I/O lines and counter/timer I/O.
The new board is ideal for applications requiring intensive digital and analogue I/O in harsh environments, such as digital radio, fire control systems, system monitoring, and closed-loop control systems.
The conduction-cooled version of the new PMC-DAADIO features outstanding resistance to shock and vibration making this version especially well suited for mobile applications.
In addition, the PMC-DAADIO's differential inputs provide a high-level of noise immunity and exceptional common mode rejection, ensuring accuracy even in noisy, high-interference environments.
The PMC to PCI interface on the PMC-DAADIO is a 32bit, 33MHz PLX9030 PCI target interface with memory-mapped I/O that supports 3 and 5V signalling levels.
The new PMC-DAADIO is available immediately; pricing starts at $995 with six weeks delivery time depending on the ruggedisation level.
Custom programming by Thales Computers is available for specific applications.
