Thales Computers has entered into a value added reseller agreement for Quantum3D's Sentiris PCI mezzanine card (PMC).

Thales Computers has entered into a value added reseller agreement for Quantum3D's Sentiris PCI mezzanine card (PMC).

Under the terms of the agreement, Thales Computers will market the Quantum3D Sentiris PMC family as a complementary product to Thales Computers' family of advanced technology PowerPC and Intel-based single board computers (SBCs), modules, and integrated systems.

In addition, Thales Computers will also offer the Sentiris PMC family as a stand-alone module that will enable commercial and military system integrators and government customers to upgrade legacy systems equipped with PMC-compatible SBCs.

Tom Hall, President of Thales Computers, said: "Quantum3D's Sentiris is the first PMC that delivers the kind of performance, image quality and capabilities that next generation graphics and video-intensive military applications require.

Quantum3D has done an outstanding job of developing a high-performance advanced graphics subsystem that complements our PowerPC VME product line.

We're pleased to partner with Quantum3D to bring the Sentiris product family to market".

"Thales Computers is a recognised leader in single board computer technologies, and has a great reputation and solid position in the military and aerospace marketplace", said Ross Q Smith, Quantum3D cofounder and Executive Vice President of Business Development and Marketing.

"With Thales Computers' capabilities and the worldwide acceptance of their VME PowerPC-based SBCs and systems, we're pleased to have Thales Computers as a value-added channel partner for our Sentiris product line".
