Thales has introduced its first all-in-one PCI mezzanine card, the PMC-6L.
Thales has introduced its first all-in-one PCI mezzanine card, the PMC-6L Designed to meet the requirements of compact, real-time systems operating defence and aerospace applications, the PMC-6L mezzanine card supports all of the most commonly used interfaces required in military and aerospace applications
PMC-6L features the ARINC-429 interface with four receive and two transmit channels, MIL-STD-1553 single redundant channel, bus controller or remote terminal, as many as six serial lines and up to 16 general purpose I/O (GPIO) lines.
"The PMC-6L was created to fill the need for an all-in-one PMC for aircraft and military use", said Alain Albarello, General Manager of Thales Computers.
"It could be used in every airborne modular computer such as collection of flight information collection and transmission application".
Pricing for the PMC-6L starts at $3990, subject to specifications.
