McCann aims to engineer improvement

Jeffrey McCann has been named Engineering Manager of Thunderline-Z.

Jeffrey McCann, formerly Technical Services Manager at AT Wall Company, has been named Engineering Manager of Thunderline-Z.

He takes over for Jim Zanello.

McCann will be focusing his attention on streamlining engineering and manufacturing processes and developing advanced feedthroughs and packages for the RF, microwave, telecomms and medical markets.

He brings over 20 years of experience to the position and is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island (BSME) and Boston University (MSME).

McCann had this to say about his new position: "I look forward to leading Thunderline-Z's engineering initiatives.

With the support of our parent company, the Fusite Division of Emerson, the possibilities are endless as to how we can service our customers".

Bill Fierle, VP and General Manager at Thunderline-Z added, "Jeffrey is an immediate asset to us, he brings the deep and varied background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing we need to propel us even further ahead of our competition".

In addition to developing new products and solutions, McCann will be leading initiatives to create an environment for continuous improvements in regards to quality, lead times and costs.
