The Value Engineering Alliance, a leading provider of machine vision solutions, has added an LCD inspection product, Vidiasys, to its suite of application-specific solutions PC-based and featuring software specifically developed to support semi-automated inspection of liquid crystal displays found in camcorders, digital cameras, portable DVD players, personal GPS navigation systems, handheld video games, miniature monitors/TVs, mobile phones, MP3 players, PDAs, video cameras and similar devices, Vidiasys' modular software architecture enables various functional blocks to be combined and exercised as needed to address a variety of LCD related inspection tasks
