With a punchy, bright 300cd/m2 image and plenty of contrast, the module is ideal for use in outside-broadcast vehicles and shop window applications.

It has 320x RGB x234 pixels and auto-switches between Pal and NTSC.

One of the key applications for Hexa-Chain video LCDs has been in outside-broadcast kit for checking the presence and configuration of signals in patch bays.

With its chassis mounting, and very simple power-plus-signal wiring loom the new Hexa-Chain 5.6in unit is perfectly suited to this application.

Trident's range of Hexa-Chain composite video modules runs from 2.5in screen size to 8in and includes 4:3 format and wide-screen variants.
