The industry's first family of cost effective, industrial widescreen displays is being introduced by Trident.

The range of high quality displays from CMO, a leading global manufacturer of TFT panels, is available from Trident immediately.

"The market for widescreen displays is rapidly expanding and we are seeing demand increase from a vast array of applications and whilst most suppliers are focusing on the TV market CMO has developed an exciting family of fast, high brightness wide screen displays specifically for use in industrial applications", said Martin Cobb, Product Manager for Trident.

This new range of CMO products for the industrial market include high resolution 12, 14, 15.4 17, 19 and 21in widescreen displays with rapid response times of up to 4ms grey to grey.

The exciting, and highly competitive, 15.4in panel is available in three different resolutions to suit individual applications, and the 17in 16:10 displays feature either a 1440 x 900 or 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Also available are 15 and 17in 4:3 displays, and all products in the range are RoHS compliant.
