Two new high performance colour TFT modules are sunlight-readable and optimised for daylight conditions making them ideal for a multitude of automotive, retail and industrial applications.

Trident has two new high performance colour TFT LCD modules from Hitachi.

The 5.7in TX14D12VM1CBB QVGA display and the 7in TX18D16M1CAB WVGA display are sunlight-readable and optimised for daylight conditions making them ideal for a multitude of automotive, retail and industrial applications.

Both models deliver an impressive 600cd/m2 with no increase in power consumption making them flexible in terms of application environments and power consumption efficiency.

A wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70C and 256K colour performance cement the reputation of these displays as leaders in the ultrabright industrial class of LCD displays.

The TX18D16VM1CAB and TX14D12VM1CBB units are also both mechanically and electrically compatible with previous Hitachi TFT modules making them simple and cost efficient to upgrade too.
