Trident is adding to its comprehensive range of printer products from Seiko Instruments with the addition of a new compact 24V thermal line dot printer and cutter mechanism The CAPG247 strengthens Seiko's commitment to its easy-paper-operation product line which makes running and maintaining these units simple and cost-effective

The CAPG247 combines high speed printing of 150mm/s with a robust design that ensures durability with a 100km service life and cutter life of 1 million cuts.

Suitable for a wide range of applications but most notably the point-of-sale (POS) and electronic-cash-register (ECR) markets, Seiko's CAPG247 prints in 58 or 60mm paper width with a resolution of 8 dots per mm.

Compatibility with printing on thick paper ranging from 54 to 80 microns gives this product added flexibility against competitors.

The compact CAPG247 unit measures 80.5 x 65.0 x 22.2mm, and is also available without a cutter (LTPG247) measuring 79.5 x 43.0 x 17.4mm.

The CAPG247 weighs approximately 180g and the LTPG247 80g.
