The compact Hitachi TX14D14VM1BAA provides customers with a 640 x 480 VGA resolution display to view clear, bright, colourful images in all lighting conditions.

Available now from Trident, the Hitachi TX14D14 is a 5.7in VGA TFT display claimed to offer a high quality viewing experience for handheld devices using Windows CE and other applications where VGA resolution is critical The compact Hitachi TX14D14VM1BAA provides customers with a 640 x 480 VGA resolution display to view clear, bright, colourful images in all lighting conditions

The display features a brightness of 350cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 350:1 and 256K colours.

The introduction of the TX14D14 ensures that the market has a compact 5.7in VGA TFT display module that offers the exacting level of optical performance which users increasingly demand.

This product is outline compatible with the Hitachi TX14D12 QVGA TFT and SP14Q011-A QVGA monochrome display, and so offers a clear upgrade path without having to change expensive tooling.

The TX14D14 measures 131.0 x 102.2 x 10.9mm and features a transmissive TFT LCD, image rotation functionality and a white CFL backlight that has an estimated 50kh lifetime.

The 5.7in display is available now from Trident, with a touch panel as an optional feature.

The display is fully RoHS compliant and Hitachi is guaranteeing to support this module for at least three years to satisfy long-term product planning requirements.
