Ideal for maritime applications such as navigation, automatic identification, monitoring and surveillance systems.

Trident has "launched" two new marine product ranges from Winmate: the marine bridge LCD and the marine panel PC These marine grade products are all IP65 certified with aluminium housings (IP54 rear) to avoid corrosion in harsh conditions

The displays and panel PCs are able to accept multiple video inputs such as DVI, VGA, S-Video or composite video and also support PIP (picture in picture) functionality.

Customers can choose a high quality SAW or five-wire resistive touchscreen, or even an antireflection protective glass option.

The rugged mechanical design provides enhanced shock and vibration resistance.

The transflective film technology used in these products enhances visibility in outdoor or bright ambient environments.

These products are ideal for maritime applications in particular radar, navigation, automatic identification, monitoring and surveillance systems.

The marine bridge system LCD uses hyper dimming technology that can control backlight brightness linearly from almost 0 to 100% by a dimming knob, ensuring that this display is ideal for use in all brightness conditions.

All Winmate rugged marine products are designed and have been tested according to the following certifications: IEC60945 (Fourth Edition, August 2002) Maritime Navigation and Radiocommunication Equipment and Systems, DNV Standard for Certification 2.4 (April 2006) Environmental Test Specification for Instrumentation and Automation Equipment, IACS-E10 (2006) Concerning Electronic Installations and CE/ FCC Class B.

The marine bridge system LCDs use a wide voltage range from 8 to 36V input with AC power input optional for several models from 12 to 23.1in.

Displays are available in sizes from 8.4 to 23.1in, with high brightness versions available on the 12.1 and 15in models.

The marine panel PCs offer high performance, fanless, low power computing.

With an AMD CS 5536 chipset, transflective panel, IP65 protection, touchscreen and a wide voltage range these PCs offer high performance in demanding conditions.

The PCs are available with two USB2.0 ports, three COM ports, VGA, LAN, and a CompactFlash socket for extension.

The range of panel PCs available from Trident are offered in sizes from 8.4 to 19in with high brightness versions available on the 12.1 and 15in models.
