Tegam has released the Model 2730, a 50MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator that features 4Mbyte of arbitrary waveform memory, a 125Msample/s sample rate and pulse rise/fall times as low as 6ns.

The 2730 replaces traditional function, pulse and sweep generators and is claimed to offer the best arbitrary waveform capabilities from DC to 50MHz.

It offers internal and external sweep ranging from 10ms to 500s, along with 14bit vertical resolution.

The 2730 incorporates the latest in IC technology to optimise sampling speed, waveform memory, and cost.

WaveWorks DDS waveform creation software, which is included with the 2730 at no additional cost, offers graphical tools to allow the creation and customisation of virtually any waveform type.

US pricing for the 2730 starts at $2995, and units are in stock and available for quick delivery.

The 2730 is the pinnacle of Tegam's brand-new series of value-priced function/arbitrary waveform generators, which includes the standard, low-cost 31MHz Model 2720 (starting at $1695), and the intermediate 40MHz Model 2725 (starting at $1995).
