Amps boast high precision and low
distortion
Two innovative products provide high-voltage amplification far beyond the limitations of most waveform or function generators.
Tegam has released two innovative products that provide high-voltage amplification far beyond the limitations of most waveform or function generators The Model 2340, a single-channel, high-voltage amplifier, and the Model 2350, a dual-channel version, provide precise signal amplification with very low distortion

Compact power amp boosts generator currents
A compact yet robust power amplifier suits applications requiring moderate voltage amplification and high current beyond the ranges of arbitrary, function, sweep or pulse generators.
Generator boasts best arbitrary capabilities
The Model 2730 is a 50MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator that features 4Mbyte of arbitrary waveform memory, a 125Msample/s sample rate and pulse rise/fall times as low as 6ns.
These amplifiers provide high-voltage outputs up to 400V peak-peak (+/ 200V).
They also feature a DC-2MHz small signal bandwidth (-3dB cutoff) as well as full power bandwidth, from DC to 200kHz (-0.1dB cutoff).
Safety features include grounded BNC outputs and direct chassis-ground connections for maximum user safety.
US pricing for the 2340 is $2395 and the 2350 is $3195.
"Based on the preliminary customer interest, and the advance orders that we have received for this new product, we have definitely produced a solution that meets customer expectations for performance and price", commented Stephen Kosik, Tegam Engineer.
The 2340/2350 offers extremely cost-effective, off-the-shelf solutions for applications that require high voltage amplification with a wide dynamic range.
They feature low distortion and low cost, and are complementary to Tegam's existing arbitrary waveform generator line.
"We are pleased to continue our commitment to the true arbitrary waveform generator product line that we acquired from Pragmatic Instruments last year", said Terry Gambill, Tegam's President.
The CE compliant 2340 and 2350 are compatible with any of the test and measurement industry's standard function or waveform generators, and are ready to meet the needs of test, research and development engineers who are creating test systems for MEMS, piezoelectrics, and other specialised applications.
