Times Microwave Systems has two new solder-free EZ two-piece N-type connectors that are ideal for use with its LMR-900-DB and LMR-900-FR flexible low loss 1.6cm 50ohm coaxial cables The high quality EZ-900-NMC-2 (male) and EZ-900-NFC-2 (female) connectors use solder-free spring-finger centre conductor contacts and clamp-style outer contact attachments
To ensure that assembly times are minimised, simplified and less prone to error, there are only two parts to the connector.
Consequently, the connectors are an ideal solution for field installations and repair.
Solder-free EZ-style connectors are also available for most LMR cable sizes covering type N, 7 to 16 DIN and reverse polarity TNC interfaces.
LMR cables are flexible, nonkinking low loss RF transmission line cables that use easy-to-install connectors and are suitable for use as antenna feeders, system jumpers and interconnects.
