The Silver Band series of low-cost connectors from Times Microwave Systems features outstanding electrical performance to 2.5GHz (less than 1.35:1 VSWR).
The first connector offered in the in the Silver Band series is the SC-400-NM (stock code 3190-1454) type-N male (plug) for LMR-400.
List price is $5 each or about half the price of standard LMR-400 connectors.
This quality connector is a rugged crimp style, nickel-plated connector with a knurled coupling nut and Teflon dielectric.
Unlike other low-cost connectors, the SC-400-NM meets mil-spec surface plating requirements and the pin is captivated for proper pin height.
The SC-400-NM is compatible with standard LMR prep tools and a 0.429in hex braid crimp.
