The unit can be used for cable resistance measurement, contact resistance measurement of connectors, switches, relays and similar components in accordance with standards, inductive resistance measurement in transformer and electric motor windings.
It is also suited to measurement of thermistors and other heat-sensitive components, and can perform ground continuity and metallic coating measurements.
It provides four-wire resistance measurement from 0.1uohm to 200kohm and measurement current is 10uA to 10A with a choice of three current values for each range.
A temperature compensation option is available to display the measured resistance value relative to 20C for copper or aluminium.
Up to 1000 measurements can be stored and standard features include programmable analogue output, programmable limits and an RS232 interface, with IEEE488 interface optional.
