TimeSys Corp has named Edward Nash as the company's Vice President of Engineering.

Nash will be responsible for the development and deployment of TimeSys technologies, supporting the company's goal of delivering on-demand access to continuously updated processor-optimised Linux packages, components and tools for embedded Linux developers who build and assemble their own commercial-grade custom Linux platforms.

Nash has more than 20 years of experience building and leading development teams including 13 years of embedded development.

Prior to TimeSys he held leadership positions in several early-stage companies that included CIO at Ion Health, VP of R and D and Global Operations at network security management company RedSiren, and CEO of 61C Networks.

"We are pleased that Ed has joined the management team at TimeSys".
