Powered by two Opteron processors, the Thunder K8S Pro (S2882) is a compelling motherboard with highly competitive features such as excellent memory performance, IPMI compliant server management support, and powerful broadband connectivity.

The main features of the Thunder K8S Pro (S2882) are designed to maximise the potential of a demanding server platform.

One of the motherboard's most powerful features is the set of four 64bit PCI-X slots for optimal I/O performance.

Up to eight DDR DIMMS can populate the Thunder K8S Pro (S2882) to provide an impressive capacity of 16Gbyte of ECC memory, Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet LAN ports to accommodate high bandwidth, and support for the latest in IPMI remote management technology for convenient and sophisticated administrative control.

Other features of the Thunder K8S Pro (S2882) include ATX12V/EPS12V universal power compatibility, Serial ATA with RAID 0, 1 or 0+1 support, an integrated ATI Rage XL graphics controller, and more.
