Tower Semiconductor has begun production of the IC00100 metro Wi-Fi baseband controller for Wavion, a developer and supplier of a new generation of metro Wi-Fi systems for the communications industry.
The APD technology used in these CMOS image sensors enables improved optical and electrical performance of ultrasmall pixels using deep submicron process technologies, thus enabling the manufacturing of small, cost-effective image sensor solutions.
