SC-cut OCXO shrinks to half the size

Advances in SC-cut crystal miniaturisation now allow space for further development of smaller oscillator packages, such as the new OS265.

New from TFC, the OS265 is a UK-manufactured SMD 14-pin DIL-type OCXO package using precision SC cut crystal technology.

TFC has specialised in producing precision oscillators since 1994.

"This new package is exactly what we and our customers have been looking for", says Craig Wells, TFC's Sales and Marketing Manager.

"We can now offer our high precision specifications and custom engineering in this smaller space saving device".

"The OS265 package is approximately half the size of our previous OS560 SC-cut OCXO model".

"Our SMD optional feature can help to meet our customer's design requests even further".

The new OS265 package fits into TFC's existing range of precision OCXOs which have accuracies from +/-0.005ppm over a frequency range of 1MHz to 1GHz.

The precision technology is also complimented by low phase noise, low jitter and low ageing rates.
