Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Jun 12, 2008

Teklatech has joined the Mentor Graphics OpenDoor programme.

Teklatech, the technology leader in floorplanning and clock distribution network solutions, has joined the Mentor Graphics OpenDoor programme, promoting interoperability between the two companies' solutions - including Teklatech's recently launched FloorDirector floorplanning tool - for the immediate benefit of mutual customers.

"We are pleased to welcome Teklatech to our OpenDoor partnership programme", said Dennis Brophy, Director of Strategic Business Development, Mentor Graphics Corporation.

"Teklatech's floorplanning tool addresses power integrity challenges and the interface with Mentor Graphics simulation tools offer benefits to our mutual customers who are focused on low-power design issues such as power grid noise and dynamic IR drop".

"We are honoured to join OpenDoor", said Dr Tobias Bjerregaard, CEO of Teklatech.

"Teklatech's unique FloorDirector technology is already providing tremendous benefits to IC designers by reducing dynamic IR drop and on-chip noise".

"I look forward to leading this effort to further address the pressing challenges of deep submicron design".
