Designed to hold ten PCBs at 15deg, and with ample space to clear mounted components each standard tray caters for a range of sizes which can be mixed.
Economy of production on the standard trays cuts cost to as little as £3, but with design and manufacture of tooling in house, John Hemsworth, managing director at Toolcraft reports the approach means customer specials can be very cost effective.
Among many techniques, CNC cutting of hard aluminium tooling, which with experience is capable of tens of thousands of shots, and CAD systems including up-to-date software for material flow analysis, produce a substantial economy of production without jeopardising quality.
Whilst Toolcraft work in a variety of materials on their range of storage trays, anti-statics are the most common for PCBs or any electronic components.
